The only Variation of the sexes!  Randy Simmons and Michael Basala created the Rockette Gene Centerpiece for the 2005 Convention. In 2010 they offered a very limited number of matching outfits for Trent.  This is one of the more desired centerpeice Gene's that was ever done, even though most conventions did feature centerpiece dolls in color variation dresses or outfits.
Albuquerque Convention Centerpieces - Variation of Torch Song
Star Entrance Gene and midas Touch Madra
Song of Spain and the 2005 Convention offering of the original concept outfit
2007 Metrodolls "White Russian" was a version of the line outfit "Sambucca"

The 24kt collection gave us Jewel Cat Madra from a Chanel Design. There was a club lottery for a red hair version limited to 120

Director Ivy the upgrade doll from the 2007 Convention and Line Doll C'est Moi Madra shared the tailored look of Katharine Hepburn.

Ivy had a Beret hat, while Madra had a faux gray fur stole & button down plus blue satin vest

The 2010 Stardust Convention which marked the end of Gene with Integrity gave the collectors something unique.  Daily Threads wig gift set came with a bald Gene, blond wig and 2 outfits.  There was a Madra 40 set also, with 2 wigs and matching outfits limited to 40 helpers as a special issue doll set. Gene's top was a blue print and Madra's was a brown print otherwise the outfits were identical.   Sadly, the wigs did not fit well and either the clothing choice or the wig made this a less than desirable set.

Ylotteries where the winners can purchase a gorgeous Auburn or Honey Blonde variation of the highly sought after Gene Marshall "Calendar Shot" doll without her "suntan"! Both dolls are in an ultra-limited edition size of only 110 dolls each made available only to 2008 W Club members and will retail for the special W Club price of $75.00

Dressmaker Details offered an alertnative black version limited to 20 outfits of their Gene Convention Costume "Moonlit Moments" which was available for sale at the 2008 Gene Convention. It also marked he debut of their Gene scale designs.
