There is always a risk, because this is older stock, even if it is new or NRFB, that there may be flaws once removed from box or undressed. Remember some of these dolls are over 30 years old, and no longer made. Glue and plastics are aging, and there is a chance, necklaces/earrings will snap, decorations on shoes may need to be reglued, and stress marks, cracks, yellowing or staining may appear on the bodies. This is normal as any collector knows, and keeping dolls NRFB after this long, only causes more issues due to the chemicals in the cardboard breaking down, which add to destroying plastics and fabrics.
