Uncle's Doll Shoppe
 

My beloved uncle, Gene Maiden, on his passing left me with many fond memories of working with him in his studio, learning to cut mats for framing antique prints and cutting out seashells for his collages. The love of paper art, British Scrap and also water coloring lessons. But his love of classic Hollywood cinema knew no bounds.  He was friends with Jane Withers, Ann Rutherford, Anne Jeffreys.  He was also instrumental in helping Mel connect with Marsha Hunt .  As he received the Gene Dolls/clothes from Mel he couldn't wait to show me when I visited.  They were displayed around his home on a rotating basis for all to enjoy. Unfortunately its time for me to downsize, and after thoughtful consideration,  I have decided to sell what remains of his Gene Marshall collection.
