The Family
Great Uncle Rudolph (son of Cromwell and Clover) and Great Aunt Felicia “Tiny” Ghastly Aunt Tiny was the fat lady in the circus. They had three children – Bertie, Gertie, and Phillipe. Well, that’s what Uncle Rudolph thought… Bertie, Gertie, and Phillipe Ghastly (children of Rudolph and Tiny Ghastly) Evangeline’s Second Cousins. Aunt Tiny had an affair with a French man - can you say 'Phillipe'? Following in their mother’s footsteps, all three joined the circus as clowns. Cedric & Edwina Clopton-Ghastly Evangeline's Grandparents. Cedric did try to right the wrongs of his father but couldn't. The town's people had already made up their minds about what kind of family the Ghastly's were. Cromwell & Clover Ghastly Evangeline's Great Grandparents. Cromwell was an evil child who grew up to be an evil man and married the most innocent girl in Ipswich - Clover Clopton, who many thought would be the town spinster. She agreed to marry Cromwell and they had three children: Cedric, Brayden and Rudolph. Beda Evangeline’s nursemaid. She took care of Evangeline until she was 8 years old. Beda just disappeared Parnilla Ghastly (child of Uncle Ervyn and Aunt Abigail Ghastly) Evangeline’s Cousin. Parnilla has the same attributes (if you know what I mean) as Evangeline. Parnilla returned to Ipswich when she was 20 to reunite with her first love, Mortimer Mort. Young Evangeline Ghastly - and as she looks Today Dudley & Amelia Whistle-Wickhan Ghastly Evangeline's Great-great Grandparents. Dudley was the butler at Barkley Manor until he inherited the Barkley fortune from Old Lady Barkley. Amelia-a gold digger- married Dudley, though she never loved him. He didn't care as he now had money AND a beautiful wife. They had one child - a son named Cromwell. Uncle Ervyn (Mervyn’s twin brother and son of Cedric and Edwina) and Aunt Abigail (Millicent’s twin sister) Ghastly Ervyn and Abigail left Ipswich in 1930 and moved to Paris, taking their daughter, Parnilla, who was 6 years old at the time. Ervyn and Abigail disappeared while there leaving Parnilla in the care of Lulu De La Poupee, a well-known fashion designer. Great Uncle Brayden Ghastly (son of Cromwell and Clover) He never married and the family no longer speaks of him. Brayden was very ashamed of the Ghastly family trait (large hands) that he ran off to hide. Oddly, he didn't seem ashamed of his large ears and feet. |
